I consider my leadership journey as being the most important factor in my ability to have led Fulbridge into the outstanding school it became. This journey brought me into contact with many wonderful educationalists. All of whom influenced my approach and helped develop my thinking. The quality of the leadership in any organisation dictates the level of success an establishment will enjoy.

In leadership you want staff to believe in and subscribe to something bigger than themselves. Attaining this is no easy thing. The successful leadership style will be full of apparent contradictions. To achieve this alignment your style will be both conventional and unconventional; conformist and non-conformist. You will need to be prescriptive as well as allow for freedom of thought and ideas.
